Part Two of the Big Paper Project. Album One Done

Took a month to design and create this album but I'm very pleased with the end result.
Fussy cut a few pieces for the cover.  Very cool🤗

Here are pictures of a few of the pages...
I did this angle pocket just for something different.
Thanks for checking my blog out. Album two will come soon💙
Until next time!

First Part of my Big Paper Project for Halloween

I'm creating a fun "stacked books box" with hidden albums inside.
Here are the pictures of my project...
Figuring out how to make the album spins look more like books, when they are all together in the box.
Ok... slowly coming together ❤
This box is the top of the stack. Check it out...
Ta da!
Neat hey?
Here is how the stack looks
So I started out with this concept but wasn't fully happy... so went to bed to sleep on it and at 2 in the morning came up with this...

It feels better and so fun.
I decided that these books are to look like school books for witches and wizards and need a wand to go with it.
I love how this wand turned out.
This is as far as I've gotten on decorating the out side.
Next step is to build the albums inside.
See you in the next blog💙

Halloween Isn't Just For Scary Movies or Costume Parties

I've never been much for Halloween as a kid or adult.  Don't get me wrong! I love the candy and haunted house tours. But dressing up, trick or treating,  etc. Mehhhhh. Just isn't me.
However since a friend introduced me to the world of paper crafts, ie: cards, albums and such... I've really enjoyed doing more Halloween themed items.

Check out a few of my more recent creations and let me know what you think🤗
And of course a few cute ones too...

I love adding stickers and making layers
The inside of my cards aren't boring either...
Take a peak, if you dare...

I'm not all about cards though.  My first Halloween project was an album I created last year.
I love how it turned out, even as a second album project 😁

It isn't easy opening an album with one hand. I don't have a stand for my phone... oh well🤷‍♀️
Here are photos of a couple of my favorite pages.

I really like the story in the middle of the album 🤗

And I love peak-a-boo pages💕

Until next time, happy crafting!

Being Creative Without a Label

I don't think there was ever a time in my life that I wasn't doing some craft or project. I love working with all materials,  mediums and just allowing myself the pleasure of exploring my heart's song.

I loved coloring,  painting and cutting paper when I was little, and I remember my mom taught me how to Macrame and doing modgepodge projects with her.

When I got older my mom taught me to crochet (dishcloths,  tea cozies, afghans, etc) sew, quilt and grandmother taught me to knit (sweaters, leggings, teacozies, dolls, afghans, etc). I taught myself counted cross-stitching, and more recently I've taken up creating cards, albums, boxes, anything that uses paper.
I don't think there is a craft project I haven't tried.
I love exploring all art mediums. Actually it wasn't until more recently that I called myself creative or even artistic because I didn't think I was. Thanks to my accident in 2019 when my world came to a crashing hault and I was advised that I might never enjoy some of the things that I use to, I said I would never give up my crafts or reading.
Over the past 2 years, I've worked hard to rebuild my ability to concentrate on craft projects,  reading and my other passion... outdoor living.
This blog is dedicated to all things crafting. Being artistic and creative. I hope you enjoy my hobbies and if you discover a craft that I might like, shoot me an email, with pictures! I'd love to show off your works here too🥰

So happy crafting my friends 💓
