Being Creative Without a Label

I don't think there was ever a time in my life that I wasn't doing some craft or project. I love working with all materials,  mediums and just allowing myself the pleasure of exploring my heart's song.

I loved coloring,  painting and cutting paper when I was little, and I remember my mom taught me how to Macrame and doing modgepodge projects with her.

When I got older my mom taught me to crochet (dishcloths,  tea cozies, afghans, etc) sew, quilt and grandmother taught me to knit (sweaters, leggings, teacozies, dolls, afghans, etc). I taught myself counted cross-stitching, and more recently I've taken up creating cards, albums, boxes, anything that uses paper.
I don't think there is a craft project I haven't tried.
I love exploring all art mediums. Actually it wasn't until more recently that I called myself creative or even artistic because I didn't think I was. Thanks to my accident in 2019 when my world came to a crashing hault and I was advised that I might never enjoy some of the things that I use to, I said I would never give up my crafts or reading.
Over the past 2 years, I've worked hard to rebuild my ability to concentrate on craft projects,  reading and my other passion... outdoor living.
This blog is dedicated to all things crafting. Being artistic and creative. I hope you enjoy my hobbies and if you discover a craft that I might like, shoot me an email, with pictures! I'd love to show off your works here too🥰

So happy crafting my friends 💓

Part Two of the Big Paper Project. Album One Done

Took a month to design and create this album but I'm very pleased with the end result.  Fussy cut a few pieces for the cover...
